to not turn around and walk away

to many times ive been hurt
been broken and beaten and bruised
to many times ive been knocked to the ground
and realised to late i was used
and ive come to find that i love you
come to find that you i can trust
that loving you is something a great
not simply a need, but a must
but your so far away and that kills me
makes me all but curl up and die
you cant hold me and tell me its alright
and kiss me when i start to cry
so know that im sorry, and i love you
know that im still your girl
know that for the rest of my life
i wouldnt trade you for the world
but theres things that i have to do
things that'll keep me sane
things that will keep my happy
and for a while take away the pain
but know my dear that i love you
know that is merely a delay
know that its you i want forever
we just have to wait for things to be that way...
